Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF) launches its first program under the Métis Health Benefits Plan effective November 16, 2017

WINNIPEG, Manitoba, Nov. 15, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- President David Chartrand of the Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF) will make a historic announcement tomorrow in Winnipeg outlining the MMF prescription drug program for Métis citizens aged 65 and older in honour of Louis Riel, the father of Manitoba.

The program will ensure that all eligible citizens will have the access and coverage to the prescription drugs they require to manage chronic illness and to improve their quality of life. Several Métis seniors will be able to speak about their need for this coverage. This is the first time a Métis Government has provided this kind of service.
