About the Author: Helane Marie Anderson is classically trained in piano and voice and studied at Indiana University School of Music, Salem College and the Sweelinck Conservatorium. She has worked in Artistic Planning with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and currently teaches at the University of Southern California.
