US Army Awards Advanced IT Concepts New Contract for Test Network Modernization (TNM) Expertise Support

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla., Oct. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The United States (U.S.) Army has just awarded Advanced IT Concepts (AITC) a contract valued at nearly $4 million for services over the next four years to support the Test Network Modernization (TNM) effort.  Under the TNM Expertise Support contract, AITC will assist the U.S. Army Product Manager for Instrumentation, Targets, Threat Simulators and SOF Training Systems (PM ITTS) at the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO-STRI), in supporting the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) in modernizing and upgrading Test Centers Networks.

TNM is aimed at meeting current and future Test Network End-Of-Life, Bandwidth, Redundancy, Information Assurance (IA) / Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Network Management requirements while maintaining operational networks at White Sands Test Center (WSTC), Yuma Proving Grounds (YPG), Electronic Proving Grounds (EPG), Redstone Test Center (RTC), and Aberdeen Test Center (ATC).

"AITC is honored to support the TNM effort; this effort represents a significant milestone for AITC and for our sub-contractor, Simetri, and it solidifies AITC's position as a premier provider of Information Technologies services and solutions to the Army," says Gabriel Ruiz, AITC President & CEO.

AITC's efforts include the Research, Identification, Verification and Validation of Communication Infrastructure solution(s) capable of meeting test needs at the five Test Ranges. Under TNM, AITC provides PM ITTS with Program Management, Systems Engineering and Network Engineering expertise to review installation and integration plans and reports, conduct technical analyses, review range test networks and components, inform the Government of End-Of-Life (EoL) systems, and plan a migration strategy to replace EoL over the lifecycle period of TNM.

"For over six years, AITC has supported PEO STRI by deploying IT solutions to Medical Simulation Training Centers (MSTC's), Training Labs, and Combat Training Centers (CTC's) around the globe. We are excited about this opportunity to expand our PEO STRI and PM ITTS support," adds Ruiz.
