Coral Ridge Yacht Club Sailing & Watersports Foundation Hosts Their First Annual Party With A Purpose


FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Coral Ridge Yacht Club Sailing & Water Sports Foundation, Inc. is a Florida non-profit 501 (c) (3), charitable foundation is hosting their first annual 'Party with a Purpose' on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Coral Ridge Yacht Club at 6:30 pm.  Guests will enjoy an evening of cocktails, cuisine, entertainment and silent auction.  All proceeds will benefit CRYC Sailing & Watersports Scholarship Fund and Educational Programs with the sole purpose of giving back to the Fort Lauderdale community.

The Coral Ridge Yacht Club Sailing & Water Sports Foundation is dedicated to investing in the future of sailing and watersports activities for children and adults of all ages.  The foundation's goal is to introduce, promote and encourage the sport of sailing, power boating, yachting and water sports by providing access to the water, vessels and related activities for all participants.  The Foundation-sponsored educational and recreational program will promote the social interaction for the participants while increasing their awareness, proficiency, seamanship and safety in boating and sailing.

"Our goal is to raise money for scholarships, educational programs and initiatives that increase wisdom, knowledge and understanding through a first-class sailing and water sports program.  The Foundation will be providing scholarships to those unable to afford the programs offered and participants will learn social skills, responsibility, team work, respect and communication along with developing a lifelong love of the water and our oceans." Said Bob Epstein, Foundation President and Past Commodore.

The Foundation is raising funding from individual contributions as well as through their Annual Charity Events like the First Annual Party with a Purpose.  Donors can support the organization by attending one of the events or by making their financial contribution to Coral Ridge Yacht Club Sailing & Watersports Foundation, Inc.  Donors contributing $1,000 or more will have a Brick in the donors name placed in the entrance fountain area of the Club and will be recognized in all Foundation materials.
