Graduating from the School of Medicine of the Central University of the Caribbean, in Bayamon, Puerto Rico in 1986 as a Physician, Dr. Orobitg later completed his residency in 1993 at the Medical Sciences Campus at the University of Puerto Rico.
In recognizing his professional accomplishments, Dr. Orobitg was inducted into the International Association of Healthcare Professionals. When not working, Dr. Orobitg enjoys swimming and playing professional water polo. In 2016, he competed in the Montreal World Water Polo Championship.
Dr. Orobitg cites Dr. Edgar Colon, Dr. Roberto Pagan and Dr. Jose T. Medina, who has worked in medicine for 63 years, as his professional mentors. He dedicates this recognition in loving memory of his father, also named Francisco Orobitg, and is also a doctor.
