Ergotron Helps Drive Innovation to Improve Healthy Aging with Thrive Center

ST. PAUL, Minn., Oct. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Ergotron, Inc., a leading provider of digital display mounting, furniture and mobility products, is proud to support the Thrive Center, a nonprofit organization located in Louisville, Kentucky, with the launch of its new Thrive Innovation Center, which will focus on the needs of the aging population. Aligning with the Center's mission to transform the quality of life and quality of care through innovation, Ergotron is providing ergonomic mounting and technology furniture solutions to the Center to support caregivers and improve resident interaction with digital displays.

The Thrive Innovation Center is a thematic experience center that is open to the public. With an estimated five million Americans living with Alzheimer's disease and that number expected to nearly triple by 2050 to 14 million, the Thrive Center has chosen Memory Care (dementia, Alzheimer's disease and cognitive fitness) as its opening theme. Technology entrepreneurs and innovators were challenged to create programs and interactive experiences around the memory care theme, and Ergotron's technology is helping to enable these experiences. Visitors to the Thrive Center will have an opportunity to learn of, and even sample, new technology, techniques and products, and it is expected that the organization will spur more innovation and research in this vital area.

The grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Thrive Innovation Center is taking place today, October 19, 2017, at 3:30 p.m. at 204 E. Market Street, Louisville, KY.
