Fortis Energy Services hires Jason Alford as Vice President of Operations.

TROY, Mich., Oct. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Fortis Energy Services is pleased to announce Jason Alford has accepted the position of Vice President of Operations. Mr. Alford has over 27 years' experience in the oil and gas industry, with more than 12 in a management role. Prior to joining Fortis, Mr. Alford's experience included extensive Snubbing / HWO experience performing a wide variety of critical well interventions such as: blowouts, high pressure washouts, hot tap and gate valve drilling freeze operations, dynamic freeze jobs and all aspects of snubbing operations. Mr. Alford has spent time working in some of the largest oil and gas plays in the world including: Norway, Kuwait, Venezuela, Algeria, Libya, UAE, the Gulf of Mexica, North America, and Egypt, where he was the Country Manager for Boots & Coots, a Halliburton company. In 2013, Mr. Alford and his team were awarded the OTC New Technology Award for his work developing Complete Automated Technology Systems, an automated service for CES.
