Wins for Best Production Technology, Best Well Integrity Technology

BAAR, Switzerland, Oct. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Weatherford International plc (NYSE: WFT) received top honors in two categories at the 2017 World Oil Awards, held Thursday, October 12, in Houston, Texas. The Raptortm 2.0 cased-hole evaluation system was named Best Production Technology and the Endura® dual-string section mill was awarded Best Well Integrity Technology.

The Raptor 2.0 system detects bypassed reserves with precise through-casing reservoir characterization, which enables operators to improve production and recovery. The Endura dual-string section mill significantly reduces the time of plug and abandonment operations and creates a stable and verifiable rock-to-rock barrier, enhancing the integrity of the wellbore at the end of its productive life.
