"I want to thank the General President for this opportunity and I look forward to working with him and our locals that represent members in the trade show and convention centers industry," Blitsch said. "Together, we can continue to raise standards for all workers in this division."

Blitsch has held the positions of Vice President and President of Teamsters Local 631. He also serves on the Governor of Nevada's Workforce Development Board (GNWB) Industry Sector Council and was recently appointed Vice President At-Large on the Nevada State AFL-CIO Executive Board.
