DJ and Producer SNAILS launches his very first North American Tour on one of the world's most legendary stages!
MONTREAL, Oct. 17, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Following acts such as The Beatles, U2, Daft Punk and Coldplay, Canadian artist SNAILS has sold-out the world?renowned Red Rocks venue. On October 6th 2017, Quebec artist Frédérik Durand A. K. A SNAILS kicked off his first North American tour The Shell Tour. Set at Denver, Colorado's prestigious Red Rocks amphitheatre, the sold-out world premiere surprised fans of the Sainte-Émélie-de-l'Énergie native, and offered 10, 000 spectators a unique cinematographic experience that went well beyond Electronic Dance Music (EDM) standards.
The show propels fans to further discover SNAILS' first album The Shell, produced by the artist's very own label, Slugz Music. The first collective release of SNAILS' own Vomitstep subgenre, The Shell album is a culmination of the artist's work throughout the years. The album flaunts impressive collaborations with artists including; Sarah Hudson, Matthew Koma, Waka Flocka Flame, Collie Buddz, Travis Richter, Foreign Beggars and Cancer Bats.
Slated for a October 20th release, the album tells the intricate story of SNAILS' beloved Slugz character, and his arrival to the great Sluggtopia. Slugz is the personification of Vomitstep (Dubstep sub genre created by SNAILS), and the face of the artist's dedicated Vomitsquad fandom. Mirroring the album's 12 tracks, the show's 12 acts have been meticulously designed by the artist, and offer an immersive and meaningful experience for fans.
A collaboration with Montreal's very own 4U2C, the entirely Canadian stage/production will undoubtedly secure its spot amongst the most innovative and spectacular scenes in Electronic Dance Music. The Shell Tour, which visits 36 locations in 45 days, and will reach over 62 000 spectators, arrives at Montreal's MTelus on December 28th.

Proud of his Quebec heritage, the artist integrates his beloved Montreal in the promotion of his work, in a playful, yet meaningful manner. In many ways Montreal represents Slugz City, the very home of the beloved Slugz's character. As such, the artist wishes to celebrate his very first album surrounded by his Montreal Vomitsquad. The event will take place Monday, October 23rd at 18H00 at Dirty Dogs (1709 St. Denis) and cannot be missed!
The Montreal event will follow The Shell's international launch in Los Angeles on October 20th launch, which will be livestreamed through SNAILS' official FACEBOOK account.
