MFDA Hearing Panel issues Decision and Reasons (Penalty) in the matter of Stéphane Lamarre

TORONTO, Oct. 16, 2017 /CNW/ - A Hearing Panel of the Central Regional Council of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada ("MFDA") has issued its Decision and Reasons (Penalty) dated October 13, 2017 ("Decision and Reasons") in connection with a hearing held in Toronto, Ontario on September 12, 2017 in the matter of Stéphane Joseph Lamarre ("Respondent").

In its Decision and Reasons, the Hearing Panel imposed the following sanctions on the Respondent:

• a fine in the amount of $25,000.00; and
• costs to the MFDA in the amount of $2,500.00.
