MONTREAL, Oct. 12, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Critical research into sustainable energy and smart-grid security is receiving a major boost at Concordia, thanks to a seven-figure donation from Hydro-Québec. In addition to supporting three research chairs, the generous gift aims to attract top students to the university by providing 68 merit-based student awards.
The three chairs will focus on:
Smart grid security ? the first chair of its kind in Canada
Optimized operation and energy efficiency for buildings
Design and performance of small electrical machines
