/R E P E A T -- Media Invitation - Official launch of Tremblant's 24h, 17th Edition - "Driven by children's causes!"/

MONTREAL, Oct. 6, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to the official launch of the 17^th edition of Tremblant's 24h for the opportunity to meet the children who've been paired with the teams, hear their moving stories, and learn what motivates participants in this event. The launch will be at 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, at Cirque Éloize and will be attended by a number of celebrities and 24h ambassadors.

Tremblant's 24h will be held December 8, 9, and 10, with more than 3,000 skiers, walkers, and runners joining forces to support children's causes.

The launch evening will include a fundraising campaign kick-off with testimonials, speeches, and unveiling of the Tremblant's 24h program. We will also salute the courage and strength of the children who will benefit from this important fundraiser. Fondation Charles-Bruneau, the Ottawa Senators Foundation, and Fondation Tremblant?the three organizations benefitting from Tremblant's 24h? will be in attendance.

The bar is being set high again this year, with the organizers hoping to welcome 2,000 skiers and more than 1,000 walkers and runners so that the donation race can top last year's record of $3.1 million. Since 2001, Tremblant's 24h has raised a grand total of over $24 million for children's causes.
