DALLAS, Oct. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Cooper Institute®, a nonprofit health organization founded by Dr. Kenneth Cooper and based in Dallas, will host its annual Legacy Award Dinner on November 2nd at Globe Life Park in Arlington. This year's event will feature an all-star lineup with event chair David Glass, Legacy Award recipient Drayton McLane, Jr., keynote speaker and Major League Baseball Hall of Famer George Brett along with moderator, Emmy® Award-winning Kansas City Royals broadcaster Ryan Lefebvre. Longtime media personality Scott Murray will once again serve as master of ceremonies. The annual Legacy Award Dinner will raise funds to support the mission of The Cooper Institute to improve global population health with a particular focus on youth and raising a healthier generation.

The annual Legacy Award dinner celebrates the critically important mission of The Institute and honors the visionary leaders who have improved the lives and health of men, women and children across the country and around the world. "Not only am I so pleased to be presenting longtime friend and supporter, Drayton McLane, Jr. with this year's Legacy Award, but to welcome David Glass, George Brett and Ryan Lefebvre to North Texas. This will be a really special experience and showcase an exciting look inside baseball that you won't see anywhere else.
