A total of $22.6 billion was raised in 644 transactions through the third quarter of 2017. Of this amount, 9 transactions totaling $34.6 million have been announced but not yet closed as of 10/09/2017.  Deal volume is down 4% (674 deals through Q3 in 2016) and dollar volume decreased 36% ($35.5B through Q3 in 2016).
