Cadillac Fairview launches CF for Campus program to engage student communities in Calgary, London, Toronto and Ottawa


Select CF shopping centres will deliver exciting and unexpected in-property experiences designed for post-secondary students

TORONTO, Oct. 11, 2017 /CNW/ - With school officially back in session, Cadillac Fairview (CF) is launching an innovative eight-month program designed exclusively for post-secondary students in an effort to further the company's long-standing commitment to supporting Canadian communities.

The CF for Campus program will take place in four markets across Canada at CF Market Mall in Calgary, CF Masonville Place in London, CF Toronto Eaton Centre in downtown Toronto and CF Rideau Centre in  Ottawa, and will focus on bringing engaging in-property experiences to this  group of highly astute and influential consumers.

"Our local student ambassadors will get to develop leadership skills through this opportunity and help their classmates feel welcome in our shopping centres, with the ultimate goal of being their go-to destination for dining, shopping and entertainment."

Campus Nights

The CF for Campus program will consist of a series of monthly Campus Nights for the duration of the school year at the four participating properties. Participating retailers will provide offers, discounts and in-store experiences exclusive to post-secondary students.

Throughout the month of October, CF will host elevated Campus Nights at the four participating properties. This in-property experience tailored to the needs of the student demographic will feature thrilling live entertainment, including a DJ, special guests, light snacks, great giveaways and exclusive retailer promotions and experiences.

CF for Campus is designed to give students a chance to mix and mingle, get involved with their local community, and take a break from studying.  The Campus Nights will take place from 5:00 p.m. ?  9:00 p.m. on their respective dates.

Across all CF Campus Nights, eight CF Student Ambassadors ? two per property ? will serve as hosts for the post-secondary students. These ambassadors will represent CF over the duration of the program and will be a familiar face to connect with.

Participating CF properties hosting the Campus Nights include:

Complimentary transportation will be offered for students at the University of Calgary and the University of Western Ontario. The in-property pick-up and drop-off location for the University of Calgary is the east entrance. The on-campus pick-up and drop-off location is behind Yamnuska Hall.
