NEW YORK, and TEMPE, Ariz., Oct. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Thomasnet.com and the Institute for Supply Management® (ISM®) are seeking nominations for the fourth annual "30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Stars Recognition Program", honoring young purchasing and supply chain management professionals from around the globe who deserve to be applauded for their passion, creativity and contributions to supply management. And, for the first time this year, Thomasnet.com and ISM® are offering a special Early Nomination incentive. Those who submit a nomination by Friday, October 13, 2017 at 30under30.thomasnet.com will receive a free month of ISM® Just in Time Learning along with a mug and free coffee gift card from Thomasnet.com.

30 individuals will be selected for the 2017 class of "30 Under 30 Supply Chain Stars". All stars will receive a one-year membership to ISM®, complimentary admittance to ISM2018 in Nashville, TN (valued at $2,295), and a Thomasnet.com Team Training Package.

One individual will be designated as the Megawatt Winner and will also win an all-expense-paid trip (up to $5,000) to ISM2018 for themselves and their nominator.

The "30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Stars Recognition Program" began in 2014, and since then has recognized 30 individuals annually who are 30 years of age or younger, and who have demonstrated leadership, innovation, collaboration, and other outstanding attributes. Contributions to their companies, associations and the industry at large are also considered. Prior winners are playing key roles in shaping strategy, streamlining processes and improving bottom-line performance for their companies, and are serving as role models for other up and coming professional as they progress in their careers. 

The program, now global in scope and open to international nominees, is designed to position supply management and procurement as viable and exciting career choices for early career professionals. This is particularly critical given the supply management sector is facing a generational shift as growing numbers of Baby Boomers retire.

Individuals can nominate deserving young professionals at 30under30.thomasnet.com by October 13, 2017 to receive the Early Nomination incentive. The final deadline to submit nominations is Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. EST. All nominees must be 30 years of age or younger as of December 31, 2017.
