Atkinson is excited to join the Extra Life community, and this will be his first year participating in the organization's 24-hour marathon on November 4th starting at 9AM PDT. Atkinson and the other participants have pledged to fundraise around the year and game for 24 hours with the goal of saving and improving the lives of sick and injured children. In addition, RainmanJam will be warming up and taking donations during the weekday stream between 7PM and 11PM PDT starting today.

According to Atkinson, "My local Children's Miracle Network Hospital treats thousands of children each year, regardless of their illness, injury or even their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries they may get from just being a kid."
