Sharp To Distribute Revolutionary Skywell® Atmospheric Water Generator

MONTVALE, N.J., Oct. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, is pleased to announce a strategic alliance with Skywell, LLC, a leading water technology company, to offer revolutionary drinking water dispensers that create clean water from the air.

"As Skywell's first distributor, Sharp is proud to move forward Skywell's mission to change the way people and companies think about office drinking water," said Tony Titone, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Sharp Electronics Corporation. "Our relationship with Skywell continues Sharp's goal of bringing the most innovative business solutions to our distribution network."

Skywell is the market's first smart atmospheric water generation (AWG) dispenser for offices. It takes in ambient air, and collects moisture through condensation. Then it uses a six-stage water filtration system, ultraviolet purification and ozone treatment to remove contaminants in order to create pure, clean drinking water. Skywell's built-in monitoring system continuously monitors every drop of hot and cold water dispensed to ensure that the water produced is of exacting quality and clarity every time.

One of this technology's greatest benefits is that it's environmentally friendly. Skywell gives office workers the power to control their own water and eliminates reliance on plastic bottles. In addition, it can easily be installed into a variety of work environments, with no plumbing or water lines required. All that is needed to install the Skywell is an electrical outlet.

Equipped with an 8-inch interactive screen, the Skywell water generator runs the Skywell app.  The app displays water temperatures, current water tank level, and offers the ability to track individual consumption.  The easy-to-use app interface allows users to quickly make adjustments to the Skywell, including water temperatures (up to 200 degrees), production hours and energy consumption.

Sharp will begin distributing Skywell products this October via select distributors.
