"As a three-time WaterSense Sustained Excellence Award winner, Delta Faucet Company is dedicated to designing and engineering innovative kitchen and bath solutions to help conserve water without sacrificing performance," said Jai Shah, Delta Faucet Company president. "We are proud to receive this honor and remain committed to educating consumers and trade professionals alike on the benefits of using WaterSense labeled products."

In 2016, the Delta brand amplified its WaterSense message throughout a variety of partnerships, including its continued HappiMess campaign. In conjunction with Warrior DashSM, Delta Faucet delivered an outdoor shower station with WaterSense labeled products to participants in five races across the country who had created their own happy messes. Delta Faucet also continued its partnership with HGTV in sponsoring the 2017 HGTV Dream Home®, which incorporated WaterSense labeled products throughout the home.

Delta Faucet Company increased the number of WaterSense labeled offerings with the introduction of the Delta Everly®, Delta Zura® and Brizo Litzetm bath collections, which include water-efficient faucet and shower head options. The Delta Drydentm bath collection expanded to include WaterSense labeled wall mount faucets, flowing at a rate of 1.2 gallons per minute.

In conjunction with product offerings and promotional campaigns, Delta Faucet Company employees actively participate in Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) committees to help lead efforts in support of water conservation codes and standards. The company is represented on the PMI Board of Directors and actively promotes the WaterSense program within the plumbing industry. In effort with PMI to support relief efforts in Flint, MI, Delta Faucet donated WaterSense labeled lavatories and shower heads to local plumbers who volunteered to assist affected residents.

In 2016 alone, the WaterSense program and its partners helped consumers and businesses save 534 billion gallons of water. Since the program's inception in 2006, the WaterSense program has helped consumers save a cumulative 2.1 trillion gallons of water and more than $46.3 billion in water and energy bills.1 More than 1,700 utilities, manufacturers, retailers, builders and organizations partner with the EPA through its WaterSense program.

"The WaterSense program is incredibly grateful to our partners for making water savings a top priority," said Ellen Gilinsky, EPA Office of Water Senior Policy Advisor. "The results we've seen over the last decade illustrate the success we've had with sharing our water-efficient programs, products and practices, and we look forward to the progress we'll see in the next decade."
