Bill 139, Building Better Communities and Conserving Watersheds Act, 2017
TORONTO, Oct. 4, 2017 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on Social Policy will meet to consider Bill 139, An Act to enact the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal Act, 2017 and the Local Planning Appeal Support Centre Act, 2017 and to amend the Planning Act, the Conservation Authorities Act and various other Acts.
The Committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on October 16 and 17, and on October 23 and 24, 2017.
Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 139 should provide their contact name, mailing address, phone number, and email address to the Clerk of the Committee by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.
Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send written submissions to the Clerk of the Committee at the address below by 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
