Isha Foundation Shares Message of Hope and Peace in Canada

TORONTO, Oct. 3, 2017 /CNW/ - Isha Foundation, a non-profit volunteer-run organization operating in more than 300 centers and supported by over seven million volunteers worldwide, is pleased to be presenting Sadhguru's visit to Toronto to offer the Inner Engineering program on October 14-15, 2017.

Sadhguru has initiated several projects for social revitalization, education and the environment through which millions of people have been given the means to overcome poverty and to improve their quality of life.  The most recent is the awareness campaign - Rally for Rivers.

India's rivers are undergoing a drastic change. Due to the pressures of population and development, perennial rivers are becoming seasonal.  The concerns include the country's environment and a population influx.  With one billion in population, India could see a mass exodus.

The simplest solution to rejuvenate India's rivers is to maintain a minimum of one kilometer tree cover on the riversides.  Forest trees can be planted on government land and tree-based agriculture brought in on farm land.  This will ensure rivers are fed throughout the year by the moist soil.
