About Puamun Meshkenu
The path of a thousand dreams (Puamun Meshkenu) is a not-for-profit (NFP) created by Dr. Stanley Vollant. This organization is the continuity of the Innu Meshkenu project, started in 2010, which affected the lives of many young Indigenous people in a fundamental way and created a movement structuring for all Indigenous communities in Quebec. Building on this legacy, the path of a thousand dreams strives on the vision that: "All First Nations, Métis and Inuit can develop to their full potential and contribute to the collective well-being." A Board of Directors composed of 9 directors, which 5 are from Indigenous communities, was created. One of these five positions is reserved for a youth between 18 and 25 years old, in order to give him/her the opportunity to develop their leadership skills.
