JBF Worldwide Continues Delivering Aid to Hurricane Harvey Victims

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide) and its Global Ambassadors headed back to Houston this week to continue assisting on the ground with the critically needed emergency relief efforts and support the millions of Texans displaced by Hurricane Harvey, the catastrophic Category 4 storm and flood disaster that left Houston and surrounding areas in a state of massive devastation last month.

JBF Worldwide Founder/former NFL player and Texas native, Jack Brewer, joined by JBF Global Ambassadors including World Champion boxer, Andre Berto, and NFL Alumni Tommie Harris, Jr., Kenderick Allen, Ronald Fields, as well as many other supporters and volunteers, have been on the ground throughout the past couple of weeks distributing thousands of dollars in urgently needed clean water relief via Aquatabs as well as basic supplies and aid to some of the most underserved and unreached communities throughout Beaumont, Port Arthur, Crosby and surrounding areas from donations made through JBF's Hurricane Clean Water Relief Effort.

JBF returned to the Houston area to deliver another shipment of supplies consisting of linens, bedding, appliances and toiletries thanks to a major generous donation from Star Linen USA, a New Jersey based company providing fine linens and bedding, amenities, small appliances, and much more to the hospitality and healthcare industries throughout the world. The foundation has aligned with key partners, organizations and operations on the ground including the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Beaumont, TX and Crosby Church as well as the Fill the Truck Foundation who filled several semi-trucks full of aid in Atlanta, GA and distributed directly to various Texas communities with the help of JBF Worldwide.

"We are excited to continue our recovery efforts as folks are unfortunately still forced to live in shelters, on porches of their homes and in tents," commented Mr. Brewer. "We're very humbled to continue our work toward improving the access to clean drinking water as well as helping deliver much needed supplies to thousands of people who have literally lost every material thing that they owned."

Immediately following Harvey, JBF launched its Hurricane Clean Water Relief Effort to fundraise, collect and deliver aid, with a focus on clean water, and has been working alongside the foundation's various partners and influencers to distribute. 100% of all funds raised will be given directly to JBF's partners and civilians on the ground.
