Yoshinoya America Reports Q2 2017 Results: Same Store Sales up 10.2%, Transactions up 6.8%, Average Check up 3.4%


TORRANCE, Calif., Sept. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Yoshinoya America achieved industry-leading system U.S. Same Store Sales (SSS) growth of 10.2% in 2017 ? and continues to demonstrate success at a time when the industry is reporting negative same store transactions and growth.

Yoshinoya's Japanese Kitchen remodel embraces an open concept and invites the guest to personalize their orders and to watch as their food is being prepared.

Yoshinoya's System Wide Same Store Sales Growth for the second quarter of 2017 was driven by increases in both transactions of + 6.8% and average check of +3.4%. Same Store Sales in August of 2017 closed out at an impressive +10.5% with transactions at +3.3% and an average check at +7.2%.

For the last four consecutive years, Yoshinoya has produced positive system wide sales growth and 2017 is on track to deliver record Same Store Sales Growth for the year produced by both transactions and average check.
