Epet.com to Operate in Hangzhou's Jianggan Commercial Center, Brings Quick Access Capabilities to International Pet Food Brands Entering China

CHONGQING, China, Sept. 25, 2017 /CNW/ -- Epet.com, a leading pet products e-commerce platform, has operated within Jianggan Commercial Center (the Center), China's first cross-border commercial center in Jianggan district, Hangzhou, allowing it to provide comprehensive market entry solutions for international suppliers who are looking to enter the booming Chinese pet food market.

Through a partnership with Epet.com, sales and import licenses for pet food suppliers in China can be obtained in as little as 6 months with their products distributing to more than 2000 stores across the nation.

Epet.com's logistic chain supports pet food distribution in China

The Center was established by the local government to help companies lower trade barriers within a strict legal and regulatory framework that covers customs, inspections, distribution and shipping towards pet products.

Epet.com will take advantage of the preferential policies from the Center to help international pet food companies easily and efficiently explore the Chinese market by providing a one-stop solution that covers bonded logistics, inspection, warehousing, branding and distribution, and by enabling the full disclosure of product information to consumers via 2000 stores as well as on Epet.com.

"We're thrilled to enter the Center and help international brands enter China," said Xiao Yu, Founder and CEO of Epet.com. "It took 18 months for an international pet food company to get a certificate to enter China. With Epet's assistance, pet food suppliers can reduce time-to-market by 300 percent, enabling our partners to significantly speed up their entry into this potential market."

According to the Forecast and Analysis Report of China's pet industry and services market from the Qianzhan Research Institution, sales of pet food have accounted for 38 percent of the Chinese pet industry in 2016, which reached CNY 33.075 billion (US$ 5.06 billion), a 35 percent increase over the past five years.

Epet.com's strategy has proven successful. The company is the exclusive distributor for ZIWI, KIWI, Foolee, TikiCat, Westpaw, Ubite, HappiDoggy, Artemis and Procao in China and is advancing its supply chain for further outreach.
