Ontario Science Centre launches Great Conversations speakers Series on September 21 with Canada's preeminent environmentalist

TORONTO, Sept. 15, 2017 /CNW/ - Welcome to the Anthropocene. Human beings have become the driving force shaping the properties of the biosphere and we are now facing a challenge unlike any other. As part of its new speaker series Great Conversations, the Ontario Science Centre presents environmentalist David Suzuki in a frank discussion about climate change, with Daily Planet's Ziya Tong as moderator. Suzuki questions whether we have the foresight to choose a path to survival or allow economics and politics to drive us in the opposite direction as the urgency of climate change becomes clear.
