Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Welcomes Icelandair Service Connecting Customers Year-round to Iceland


DFW AIRPORT, Texas, Sept. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Customers from Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport will have a new choice for travel to Iceland and beyond when Icelandair begins new service to Reykjavik's Keflavik International (KEF) in May 2018. Icelandair will serve DFW to KEF four times per week with a Boeing 757-200 aircraft.

The new route will open up more travel choices for DFW customers via the Icelandair hub in Reykjavik, which serves more than 25 destinations in Europe.

Travelers from Iceland can take advantage of DFW's facilities at International Terminal D that feature highly efficient customs processing, as well as world-class shopping, dining and amenities. DFW's geographic position, size and amenities also makes for convenient connections from Europe and Asia to points across North America, Central and South America.

When Icelandair launches service in May 2018, the airline will be the 17th international carrier to serve DFW International Airport.
