RIA in a Box Wins Best in Show at Orion's Fourth Annual Fuse Conference

OMAHA, Neb., Sept. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Orion Advisor Services, LLC ("Orion"), the premier portfolio accounting service provider for advisors, announced RIA in a Box as the winner of "Best in Show" at the fourth annual Fuse Conference, on September 7-10 in Park City, Utah.

This year, the theme was integration and a deeper level of collaboration ? or "Fusions," which represents Orion's view that anyone can 'integrate' but only the top technology firms take the concept of integration to the next level, deeply conjoining their technologies for the benefit of advisors. Industry thought leaders and advisors provided direct feedback about the benefits offered by the technology combinations. The event culminated in the "hackathon" where coders utilized Orion's Insight dashboard for interactive client presentations to create new disruptive technologies for advisors. The esteemed judges panel consisted of both advisors and industry thought leaders including Technology Tools for Today's Joel Bruckenstein, Nerd's Eye Blog's Michael Kitces, and FPPad's Bill Winterberg. These judges evaluated 27 pitches from industry experts representing a variety of companies.

"A hallmark of Orion is our unwavering commitment to advisor independence and that the advisors have access to the best technology the industry has to offer. Fuse continues to bring together the most creative names in fintech to create cutting-edge, efficient innovations for advisors," said Orion CEO Eric Clarke. "Congratulations to RIA in a Box and all the Fuse winners ? the talent demonstrated this year continues to amaze us.
