NuFACTOR(R) Announces 2017 Annual Eric Dostie Memorial College Scholarship Recipients

TEMECULA, CA--(Marketwired - August 29, 2017) - NuFACTOR, the specialty pharmacy of FFF Enterprises, Inc., has selected the ten recipients of the 2017 Eric Dostie Memorial College Scholarship. The scholarship was founded in 1994 in remembrance of Eric Dostie, a boy who was tragically murdered on August 27, 1994, at the young age of 5. Eric was a boy with hemophilia, a rare hereditary disorder in which the blood does not clot normally, caused when one or more clotting factors (substances in the blood that help form a clot) are missing.

Eric inspired many lives with his uplifting joy, humor and unending love. His family recalls his aspirations of becoming a scientist and inventing a cure for hemophilia in the form of a "chocolate pill."

The Eric Dostie Scholarship grants $1,000 to each winner to be used for school expenses. Scholarship candidates are required to submit an essay describing how their education will be used to serve humanity and encourage self-improvement and enrichment. Recipients are selected based on scholastic achievement, community service and financial need.
