Quotes:

"We welcome the Minister's initiative. We are eager to build on it and move forward to the next step, the introduction of a framework law by the Minister. This law must be adopted before the end of this year," said Simon Telles, President of the Quebec Student Union (QSU).

"The Minister must include a clear responsibility for institutions in its framework law. It must ensure that they are accountable for the actions they take in the fight against sexual violence," said Jason St-Amour, President of the Fédération étudiante collégiale du Québec (FECQ).

"This strategy is an important step forward in supporting survivors through its creation of centralized resource centers on every campus and by ensuring that survivors will have access to all of the resources they need," Simon Telles, President of the QSU.

"We are continuing to wait to see what type of funding will be provided to colleges and universities to finance the installation of additional security infrastructure for students," Jason St-Amour, President of the FECQ.
