TRURO, Nova Scotia, Aug. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The 2018 Toyota Camry features many design and performance updates, and Truro Toyota is adding model comparison pages to its website to show car shoppers how the new Camry stacks up against its competition. This month the dealership added two comparison pages to its website, pitting the 2018 Toyota Camry against the 2017 Nissan Altima and 2017 Chevy Malibu.
In the Camry versus Altima comparison, the dealership found that the Camry offers more power, comfort and convenience for its passengers than the Altima is able to. The Camry has 203 horsepower compared to 179 horsepower on the Altima, and the Camry has standard features like cruise control, lumbar support for the driver, daytime running lights and a cabin air filter, none of which are offered on the base trim of the Altima. The Camry also features more safety than the Altima, with an available Blind Spot Monitor System and knee protection airbags for both the driver and front passenger.
The Camry versus Malibu comparison yielded similar results, with the Camry outshining the Malibu in the areas of convenience and safety. The Malibu has a lower starting price point, but it does not offer features like voice recognition technology, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and blind spot monitoring technology, all of which are available on the base trim of the 2018 Camry.
