PetFirst Pet Insurance Moving Headquarters to Accommodate Rapid Growth

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind., July 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Due to the continued growth in revenue and personnel, PetFirst Pet Insurance  is moving its headquarters in August to Water Tower Square in Jeffersonville, IN. Recognized as Business First's #1 fastest growing company in 2010, PetFirst continues to represent one of Kentuckiana's fastest-growing businesses.

"We have worked diligently to design an innovative, relaxed, and pet-friendly work space that will meet the needs of our growing business and represent the fun culture PetFirst is known for," said Katie Blakeley, CEO of PetFirst, "While PetFirst is a national company, we are excited to invest locally in Indiana."

PetFirst has outgrown its current facility located at Quartermaster Station in Jeffersonville, IN.  The company moved into its current location in 2008 and expanded its headquarters in 2010.

"The time is right for us to increase our office space and invest further in our collaborative culture," Blakeley said.  "Our entire organization is committed to serving the needs of dog and cat parents across the U.S.  This new space will foster more collaboration and unity among our team members."

PetFirst's new facility will offer an open environment for creativity and collaboration, include various meeting rooms and break-out spaces, and work-life amenities like a lounge area and café.

PetFirst's growth reflects the growth of the overall pet health insurance industry, which is on pace to exceed $1 billion in premium in 2017.

PetFirst was founded in 2004 with just two employees and now has more than fifty associates.  The company offers pet insurance coverage to dog and cat owners through a variety of distribution channels including animal welfare organizations; employers that offer the insurance as a voluntary benefit; retailers; and direct-to-consumer through PetFirst.com.
