Media Advisory: USW Members to Rally Against Unfair Trade

GRANITE CITY, Ill., July 19, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Members from three USW locals at U.S. Steel's Granite City Works will rally with their allies Thursday against the unfair trade that caused the idling of large portions of their facility. Some 18 months after U.S. Steel drastically cut back production at Granite City Works, Chinese overcapacity, particularly in oil country tubular goods, continues to interfere with getting operations back on line and workers back on the job.
