The Canadian American Business Council Announces Changes to its Leadership

WASHINGTON, July 18, 2017 /CNW/ -- Following the successful term of outgoing Chairman David Slack (Vice President, Government Affairs, Bombardier, Inc.), the Canadian American Business Council (CABC) is pleased to announce Christina Erling (Director, Federal Affairs, Barrick Gold U.S.A.) as the new Chair of the council. Ms. Erling was approved in a vote of the Canadian American Business Council's Board of Directors on May 10, 2017 in Ottawa.

As we enter this important year for Canada/U.S. relations, Ms. Erling's leadership will be important to ensure the CABC's membership is part of the dialogue to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Gary Clement (Senior Manager, TD Bank Group) was approved by the Board of Directors as the new Vice-Chair of the CABC.
