Oregrown Sponsors Humane Society Gala

BEND, Ore., June 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Oregrown Industries, Oregon's premier farm-to-table cannabis company, is a platinum sponsor of the Humane Society of Central Oregon's 12th annual Tuxes and Tails gala and fundraiser this Saturday, June 10th at the Riverhouse Convention Center in Bend, Oregon.

Oregrown partnered with the Humane Society last year in support of their program to encourage the adoption of senior pets. At that time, HSCO was offering a 50% discount on those adoptions, with Oregrown covering the rest.

The Humane Society of Central Oregon provides care for more than 3,000 lost, abandoned, neglected and abused companion animals each year. The agency adopts animals into loving homes and provides both spay and neuter and pet food assistance programs, among many other services vital to the lives of both animals and their human companions throughout Central Oregon.

"According to one study, Oregon is the fourth leading state in the nation for pet ownership, and Bend is clearly a leader in that department," said Hadar.
