Zandre Campos Discusses Education In African Leadership Magazine

NEW YORK, May 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- ABO Capital announced today that its CEO Zandre Campos was featured in African Leadership Magazine discussing ways to improve education in Africa. The article entitled "Three Ways to Improve Education in Africa" was originally published on African Leadership Magazine on May 23, 2017.

Education is the cornerstone of success and in order for Africa to succeed, the continent needs to invest more time and energy into improving its education system. Child enrollment figures from schools around Africa have been growing, with enrollment in primary schools more than doubling between 1990 and 2012. Making education a priority is critical and Mr. Campos believes the three ways Africa can improve its education system are investing in teachers, prioritizing universities and focusing on student needs.

"With an increase in quality teaching, coupled with a growth in universities and attention to student needs, Africa has the potential to become an education powerhouse," said Mr. Campos. "Investment in Africa's education system is necessary to accommodate the burgeoning enrollment numbers, proving an investment in a child's education is an investment for a brighter future."

Zandre Campos is chairman and CEO of ABO Capital, an international investment firm that invests in companies in the healthcare, energy, transportation, hospitality, technology and real estate sectors throughout Africa. ABO's mission is to create global value for developing countries in Africa, while contributing to their economic development.
