eLoop llc First U.S. IT Asset Management Company to Adopt Cellbie Mobility Platform

TORONTO, May 9, 2017 /CNW/ - eLoop llc, one of the leading IT recycling and remarketing companies in the state of Pennsylvania serving government and enterprise customers, has become the first large-volume U.S. company to deploy Toronto-based Cellbie's Enhanced Asset Recovery software platform for mobile devices. The Cellbie marketplace, which has already been adopted by service providers and retailers in Canada, offers enterprises and consumers higher trade-in values for smartphones and other mobile devices while balancing the goal of reducing risk and maximizing remarketing value.

"At eLoop we're dedicated to recovering value for our customers' retired mobile devices, and we're pleased to add the Cellbie platform to our service offering," said Ned Eldridge of eLoop. "Cellbie's solution enables device assessment, accurate pricing, and connection with a network of committed buyers to deliver great value for our customers including Telecom Expense Managers, governments and enterprise dealers or agents."

Cellbie's advanced trade-in system accesses a broad marketplace of device purchasers, with every device sold at the highest price in the market, ensuring that eLoop is able to 'hit the ground running' to attain best pricing on used mobile devices for its customers. Each device is accounted for, condition and functionality assessed, and trade-in value assigned, and digital confirmation is provided that data was removed from each device.

eLoop is deploying the Cellbie platform throughout its network of clients, providing businesses, counties, municipalities, healthcare organizations and educational institutions throughout Pennsylvania with a full range of IT asset management (ITAM), IT asset disposition (ITAD), and remarketing solutions.

"Cellbie was founded on the premise that current mobile recycling does not properly compensate consumers and enterprise managers for the residual value of high-end smartphones being traded in," said Mark VanderHeyden, President of Cellbie. "Positive response to the Cellbie marketplace in the Canadian and U.S. markets indicates that Cellbie is meeting the need for an improved process for buying, selling and servicing used smartphones."

Diagnostics inherent in the Cellbie platform ensure that repairs and recycling of devices are minimized, complementing eLoop's commitment to environmental responsibility. IT managers can rest assured that prior data is wiped from all devices before proceeding to reuse or recycling based on digitally signed wipe reports included in the Cellbie software.
