Media Advisory - The Conference Board of Canada to host two business events in Halifax
HALIFAX, March 24, 2017 /CNW/ - The Conference Board of Canada will host Atlantic HR 2017: Facing Challenges, Building on Strengthson March 28 in Halifax. This event will bring together HR leaders in Atlantic Canada to address the challenges demographic change poses for employers in Atlantic Canada. The region's aging workforce and the continuing out-migration of the younger population are the biggest threats to the success of employers and the whole region.
On March 29, The Honourable Mark Furey, Minister of Business and Minister of Service Nova Scotia, will join Nova Scotia business leaders and policy makers at the Atlantic Business Outlook: Halifax. Craig Alexander, The Conference Board of Canada's Chief Economist, will provide a deep dive analysis into the numbers and factors underpinning the economy from a global, national, provincial and local perspective.
