NFL Stars Visit the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem


JERUSALEM, Feb. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The NFL All-Stars (National Football League) team visiting Israel, stopped for an experiential visit to the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem.

The Stars: Calais Campbell (Arizona Cardinals), Michael Kendricks (Philadelphia Eagles) and Delaney Walker (Tennessee Titans), accompanied by a professional team, arrived for an experiential tour of the Museum, to learn first-hand about the long history of friendship, cooperation and assistance by non-Jews of all faiths and denominations, who helped the Jewish people over the last few generations, and especially during the Holocaust and the establishment of the State of Israel.

The stars of the most successful and most watched league in the United States and one of the most successful leagues in the world, toured the Museum, viewing illustrative and impressive technological exhibits, including unique three-dimensional exhibits, and learning about the contributions of friends of Israel such as: US President Harry Truman, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, a relative of former US President George Bush, Professor George W. Bush.

The Museum was create to draw people together and to foster friendship among religions.

Museum officials praised the players who spent time visiting and who said to them that they are happy to have experienced and to see with their own eyes what is the meaning of brotherhood and friendship, and joined the great majority of Christians who love and support Israel.

The Friends of Zion (FOZ) Museum was established with the vision of serving as a bridge, enabling people from around the world to join the scores of people throughout history who have supported the people, the promise and the State of Israel.
